About The Firm
Bruegger & McCullough, P.C. is a law firm whose principal office is located at 9400 North Central Expressway, Suite 1305, Dallas, Texas 75231. Bruegger & McCullough, P.C. is a firm devoted to the representation of injury victims and their families. We are committed to providing excellent legal services for our clients, promptly and efficiently, and achieving outstanding results. Our goal is to level the playing field when an individual or family must seek compensation through the legal system against sophisticated and well funded insurance and business interests.Bruegger & McCullough, P.C. is comprised of attorneys Joseph Bruegger and Michael McCullough, and 6 hard working support staff. Joe Bruegger has been in practice representing injury clients since 1981. Joe is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and has the highest rating, “av”, from Martindale- Hubbell, the definitive U.S. lawyers’ directory. After his graduation from law school Mike McCullough first went to work for a law firm which represented large insurance companies. Mike soon realized that he wanted to devote his law practice to representing individuals and joined Joe in a firm focused on plaintiff’s personal injury cases. In 2000 the firm changed names to Bruegger & McCullough, P.C.
The firm believes in giving back to the community. The firm has been a major contributor to the Dallas Campaign for Equal Access for the last seven years. The Campaign raises money to fund legal representation for people in the community who are in need of legal representation but without sufficient means to hire an attorney. Mike is a proud member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas which supports several local youth and family resource centers. Both Joe and Mike are active in their churches and in their kids’ sports programs.
One way we are able to level the playing field for our own clients is by our fee and litigation cost structure. We work on a contingent fee basis, that is, our fee for representing injury clients is normally set as a percentage of the recovery our client receives. Conversely, if we are unsuccessful in making a recovery for our client, there is no fee. Litigation can be expensive and so we pay the ongoing costs of prosecuting your case, such as court filing fees, record copy fees and experts’ fees. The client is only required to repay the litigation costs if, as and when they make a recovery. We feel that these firm policies enable families, who might have insufficient financial resources to prosecute valid claims, the ability to seek just compensation in our court system.
