Mike grew up in Dallas, Texas. Following high school Mike went to The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating with a B.A. in History, he went to law school at University Of Tulsa School of Law where he obtained his J.D. During law school, he was a member of the Dean’s List and the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi.
Following law school, Mike went to work for the law firm of Touchstone, Bernays, Johnston, Beall, Smith & Stollenwreck, L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas. At Touchstone, Bernays, he represented large insurance companies. He soon realized that he wanted to devote his law practice to representing individuals and not companies. Mike left Touchstone, Bernays in 1998 and joined The Law Offices of Joseph F. Bruegger, P.C., a firm focused solely on plaintiff’s personal injury cases. In 2000 he became a partner and the firm changed names to Bruegger & McCullough, P.C.
Mike compliments the firm’s broad range of practice by representing plaintiffs in various areas including asbestos, silica, automobile wrecks, trucking wrecks, premises liability, construction liability, product liability, medical negligence, nursing home liability, and injurious drugs and devices. Since beginning the practice of law in 1993, he has tried numerous cases to verdict.
Mike is a Sustaining Member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Dallas Bar Association and Texas State Bar Association. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
He is married to his wife, Terry and they have three children.
